This guide will troubleshoot Bitmain Antminer L7 ASIC status showing X.
Issue: the hashboard lost chips or after a certain amount of time, the ASIC status displayed X.
For instance, a functioning D3 hashboard has 60 ASIC chips. The image below shows that Hashboard No. 1 has lost chips, Hashboard No. 2 is normal, and Hashboard No. 3 displays X.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Substitute a well-known PSU to test.
2. Verify that the miner is firmly grounded.
3. Confirm the network is normal by,
1 Network =>2 Diagnostics => 3 Enter pool stratum => 4 Ping => 5 Check the result
Packet loss: 0% means normal.
Delay Time: avg. should below 100ms and the max. should not exceed too much. (e.g., ping stratum.antpool.com )
4. Verify that the miner is operating at a normal temperature and that no dust or other debris is attached.

5. If none of the aforementioned measures work, kindly send the device in for repair.
